Mr. Freddy “Tork” Dean Hill, 60, a resident of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Randolph County to the late Fred Sink and Bobbie Marie Causey Hill on May 3, 1957. Mr. Hill was a truck driver and owner and operator of Hill Trucking Company, delivering freight for Pam Hill Trucking Company and Woodrow Transport for many years. He loved riding horses and going to Love Valley. Mr. Hill enjoyed singing and music, and could tell a story and keep everyone’s attention. He attended Walter’s Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Dale Hill; a nephew, Jason Hill; and a niece Latasha Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by his companion, Willa Mae “Sissy” Lambeth, of the home; two sisters, Sherry Hill of Lexington and Pamela Hill of Franklinville; brother-in-laws, Roger Hall of Lexington and Cliff Reeding of Asheboro; a niece, Candy Floyd and husband Keith of Lexington; two nephews, Stacy Maness and wife Jena of Ramseur and Dustin Maness of Colorado Springs; a grandson, Henry Miles Lambeth of Lexington; two step-children, Sandy Lambeth of Lexington and Elmer Lambeth of Lexington; two great-nephews; two great-nieces and lots of family and friends who loved him. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with the Rev. Keith Edmonds officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 2:00 – 2:45 PM at the funeral home.
