Nell Veach Fouts, a life-long resident of Thomasville, died Saturday, January 6th 2018 at Hinkle Hospice in Lexington. Born in 1922, she worked as a bookkeeper and office manager until her retirement at age 94. Nell loved to travel. While longtime member and treasurer of the Vietch Historical Society, she was thrilled to visit the ancestral home, Dawyck House in Pebbleshire, Scotland. Left to honor her and remember her love are her three sons, Sam, Neal and Lynn Fouts and wife Lettie, as well as grandchildren Chris and wife Christie Fouts, Danielle and husband Devin White; great-grandchildren, Cody, Lexi, Marissa and fiancé, Michael, Chelsea and husband Brett; great-great-grandchildren, Lina and Sterling. Memorial gifts may be made to the Veitch Historical Society through the veitchhistoricalsociety.org website. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2018 from 5PM until 7PM at J C Green and Sons Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
