Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Nutter Fine, 81, a resident of Council Street, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Longs, SC. She was born September 14, 1935 in Greenbrier Co. WV, daughter of the late James Austin Nutter and Ottie Edith Haynes Nutter. Dorothy was a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture Ind. Plant D. She loved cooking, gardening and also her love for her church family was very special. She was married to Harris Collins Fine who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Rollin Nutter, Albert Nutter and Edward Nutter. Surviving are, three sons, Kyle Austin Nutter of High Point, Michael Wayne Fine and wife Kimberly of Longs, SC and Jacob Lindsay Fine and wife Tammy of Greenville, NC; two sisters, Nancy England of Thomasville, NC and Ruth Amick and husband Eldridge of Quinwood, WV; two brothers, Nathan Nutter and wife Mary of Orient Hill, WV and Johnson Nutter and wife Frances of Baltimore, Maryland; five grandchildren, Austin Wayne Fine, Hali Brooke Fine, Jacob Harrison Fine, Kylie Loran Fine and Brittany Renee Pippin. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Salem Fellowship Church Cemetery, 4367 Salem Church Rd. Denton, NC with Rev. Billy Parham officiating.
